I cannot even begin to describe how busy I have been the past month – I have been meaning to do this post for the last three weeks, but alas, my health and my schedule had got the better of me! Working a 7-day week makes it pretty hard to shoot, as by the time I get home in the evening it’s pitch black – and God knows I’ve forgotten what a ‘weekend’ is! It struck me this morning; seeing as I spend my life in the shop, why not blog from the shop? And so here we have it – my first, ‘in-store’ blog post!
Sure the background isn’t clean and minimal like some of the better bloggers out there today, sure the lighting is a little poor and obviously there are a million other distractions and clothes that steal my limelight – but it shows me in my natural habitat, and for that, I think it kind of works.
Having not been able to attend the Motel Bloggers Party, Analise contacted me to see if I would like to take part in the ‘3 Ways to Wear’ feature – obviously! I then selected a couple of items from the new releases that I liked and voila – they arrived in the post like magic. I really do have to give it to them, Motel really know how to babe it out.
My first selection is these uhhmaaazing Brylee Palazo Pants. I’ve been desperate for something similar to these for weeks and weeks, and so when I unwrapped these, I was absolutely thrilled. Not only do they fit like a glove, but they are also the ultimate flattering trousers (especially after the mince pie consumption has begun…). They have literally been glued to me ever since I got them – did I mention that they’re also beyond comfortable? Because they are; heavenly.
So how I have I chosen to wear them? I’ve titled them my Monday-Friday, Saturday Night and Lazy Sunday, just to show how they really are a trouser for every occasion. And yes, I admit it, I more of less have been wearing them 7 days a week.
The ‘Monday to Friday‘ Look
The ‘Saturday Night‘ Look
The ‘Lazy Sunday‘ Look
In other news, I’ve got a pretty exciting weekend coming up and an amazing jacket from Motel to shoot also, so keep checking back, and hopefully this time I will have fixed the radio silence…
