Time has just passed my by recently; I cannot believe it is April already!
As a knock-on-effect, my blogging has suffered terribly, as have my phone contacts – I am the worst replier, I apologise. Which is why I thought I would do a quick post to just fill you in on what has been happening in my life for the past couple of weeks, which, as you will see, has been overindulging in food. The irony of it all is, I’m actually on a gluten and dairy free diet – hard to believe from my photos, sure, but everyone is allowed their naughty days (weeks…)

On the whole, I have actually been fairly good with this whole no wheat/no dairy phase, and what started out as a pre-skinny birthday promise has now turned into a bit of a lifestyle obsession. Of course I’m not going to be completely gluten/dairy free for the rest of my life, because a) I’m too fun and b) it’s not entirely practical. However, the choices it has forced me to take may stay with me, and my body is thanking me for it already.

In other news, Mother’s Day has come and gone, and for those of you who know me well, will know that it is always a bit of a sticky time for me. Having lost my Mum at the raw age of 16, no celebratory holidays have ever felt exciting. Knowing this, two of my lovely dear’s took my out for a picnic in the park, or as I liked to call it, a ‘pick-nic-me-up’ – it worked wonders.  So here a few photos for those of you who don’t follow my Instagram, to make you feel better about how much healthier you probably eat than me!
